We are happy to announce that Easy Legal Billing supports LEDES 1998bi and LEDES 1998bi v2 formats, as well as all other LEDES formats. Easy Legal Billing is the only LEDES 1998b software that supports all LEDES formats. LEDES 1998bi is also known as LEDES 1998B-INTL or LEDES98BI and contains additional fields to help with international billing issues and handling of taxes.
The difference between LEDES 1998bi and LEDES 1998bi V2 is the fact that version 2 contains two additional fields:
- INVOICE_REPORTED_TAX_TOTAL
- INVOICE_TAX_CURRENCY

To send a LEDES 1998bi or 1998bi v2 file along with your invoice, simply click on the “Send Invoice” button then choose the proper LEDES file type.
